Dance classes for seniors
in Munich Augsburg & Tutzing

Munich: between Stachus & Marienplatz
Augsburg: Tram Line 1 - KUKA stop
Tutzing: 3 minutes' walk from the train station
There is no better and more pleasant sport than dancing, especially for the “older generation”. The joints are kept supple when floating over the parquet. Body tension and movement strengthen muscles and bones, a good prevention against osteoporosis. Dancing strengthens the cardiovascular system. During the class there is time for dance, gossip and cozy get-togethers.

Dancing without a partner - Club Agilando

Even without a partner, you can pursue the beautiful hobby of dancing with us. In Club Agilando gymnastic exercises are combined with classical dance steps. A partner is not necessary as the exercises are carried out in a group. Here you are in good company and in a great atmosphere you forget everyday life for a few hours and do something good for yourself.

Dance courses with partner

Dancing is not a question of age. Here you can experience ballroom dancing in a new way. In our senior courses we offer the opportunity to renew, expand or build up knowledge.

Munich

The weekly tea dance, every Wednesday from 1:15 p.m., also offers the opportunity to swing the dance floor with your partner.

Dancing is health care
There is no more effective way to counteract dementia than dancing! When dancing, you subconsciously train both halves of your brain, the logically thinking and the creative one. Learning to follow steps and figures in a rhythmic context trains the memory intensively. So dancing is brain jogging, a barrier against the great oblivion.

Studies prove the success
Since 2008, the Ruhr University Bochum (RUB) has been investigating the positive effects of dancing on the aging process of people (here in particular the approach followed in Club Agilando). The results are consistently positive.
